Course Overview
While simple and often overlooked, Practical Life is the core of Montessori’s Early Childhood program. For many a child, lessons in Practical Life will be among their first life experiences!
In this course you will learn:
• How to present lessons that provide an important link between home and school
• Activities from dusting to metal polishing, washing dishes and gardening
• About the development of concentration, coordination of movement and independence
• How to help the child learn responsibility for care of self, others, and the environment
